During the week of January 9th we were under flood watches every day. This happens occasionally and it's not really a concern. However, on the 12th it became a concern. It had POURED all day long and by evening we had some water leaking into our garage.
Ryan and I had this concrete block at the back of the house and brought it out front to help direct the flow away from the garage. It helped. I wish I could've taken a pic at the end of our driveway where it was like a river flowing down the street! But the rain was too intense, and it wasn't worth doing that to my camera :)
I love how you can see the raindrops! It was really quite exciting!
Our yard was flooding. And amazingly enough- 24 hours later it was though nothing ever happened.
